Optimize Feedback. Optimize Results.

Most feedback training teaches leaders how to give better feedback. That's only half the conversation. We take a dyadic approach, building feedback as a shared skill between the giver and the receiver, so your whole organization gets better at it together.

Ready to build feedback fluency across your team? Let's talk.

Katie Duarte MSc, CTDP, ODCP

Hi, I'm Katie, Founder of Action Potential Solutions. I help organizations optimize feedback for better results.

With an MSc in Organizational Psychology and original research into how feedback actually plays out between people, I've spent my career studying why feedback so often falls flat, and what makes it work instead.

For decades we've treated feedback as a leadership skill, pouring our energy into how to give it better. That misses half the picture. The receiver shapes the outcome just as much as the giver, which means effective feedback is a joint effort. That's the shift I help teams make.

Why Feedback?

Feedback is one of the most powerful levers an organization has, and one of the most consistently mishandled. It isn't just an individual performance tool. It's how organizations steer change, test strategy, and surface what's working and what isn't.

An organization's ability to navigate change, innovate, and fully engage its people all depend on the quality of its feedback skills and processes.

Get feedback right and these capabilities compound. Get it wrong and they quietly erode.

"What I love about Katie's approach is that it's disruptive. Having worked for large companies throughout my career, I can honestly say that I've never seen the importance of feedback framed in this manner nor the acknowledgement of a key variable: placing equal importance on both the giver and the receiver of feedback."

Frequently asked questions

What is a dyadic approach to feedback?

A dyadic approach treats feedback as a shared skill between two people, the giver and the receiver, rather than something leaders deliver one way. It's not just about two people engaging in dialogue, it's about how each side influences and impacts the other, and whether feedback lands and leads to change.

Who is your feedback training for?

Anyone who gives or receives feedback, which is everyone! From the C-suite to front line employees, individuals, and teams, across all industries and levels.

Do you offer feedback keynote speaking?

Yes. I speak on feedback as a two-way process at conferences, company meetings, and team events, bringing a research-backed perspective that audiences relate to immediately.
